The Silver-Veined Egg is a hand-finished dragon egg threaded with raised veins that run its full surface like something breathing beneath the shell. In daylight it reads as pale stone. In the dark it glows.

It sits in a carved bone-pale cradle, made to hold it at the angle that shows the veining best.

Every egg is finished individually, so no two carry exactly the same pattern. This one exists once.

About the glow. The green glow in the photographs is the egg charged and photographed in darkness. Under normal room light it appears pale and stone-like. Both are the same object — charge it near a lamp or in sunlight, then take it somewhere dark.
